Their server is getting raped. Impressive stuff, but it makes me wonder how well such an extracted mesh can be exported into the pipeline. Starting with a UV-mapped lowpoly base mesh and exporting the scuplted high-res mesh as a normalmap is common practice but i'm not sure the presented method is able to retains such a hierarchy.
Without a linux port it's gonna remain uninteresting for me, will have to go the MudBox road if i wanna sculpt.

Great looking stuff so far ain't it

they will post more goodies on the Pixologic forum soon, i'll update this post as more is posted over there.
Adrian, i'm sure you will have to wait a while for a Linux port of Zbrush

run it on Windows or Mac and it'll be fine.

Interesting. I don't know about Zbrush and Mudbox.
But nowadays, gettimg more and more interested.

Yeah it doesn't seem to be of much importance to them, like with any other commerical product
Once i get a new system with a VT capable cpu i might aswell run it via Xen, i still have my XP license.

... and right there they close to gap to MudBox again, seems like this isn't gonna be the total ownage people are talking about (ignoring the GUI aspect).
