v-ray

Looks like they are FINALLY going to realease v-ray 1.5 soon..... Just got an e-mail from them - it's going to be dongle secured, so you have to send them a request to get it.....

Geesh! I havent had to deal with a dongle since 3ds max 3? for DOS....

I have heard that Vray 1.5 will be revealed at siggraph 2006,

Hmmm....how about maxwell? :)

where we just have this features? ...maxwell rules!

most vray renderings have that waxy-blurry-narcotic touch...

Vray is actually pretty good. I'll buy it one day for sure. I just don't understand what's that dongle thing all about? Who needs dongles in these days?? Nothing is crackproof so I wonder why bother...
