They should just wait and go straight to ocho cores, or even pentagonal. What comes after quad anyway? .........Sinco cores? Wonder how much quad will cost? What am I saying. Sh$% I guess I need a new computer after I just bought one last year. Pile o Junk!

The chart is an average from the inhouse performance measruements

We calculated this parameter as geometric mean of all normalized results obtained during this test session. Note that we have seen pretty much the same performance correlation between CPUs based on different architectures such as Intel Core, Intel NetBurst and AMD K8. Therefore, the integral value given on this chart describes very well the average performance of our testing participants in the majority of applications....
