Would highly amuse me if this origianlly amusing event were to enter our history books as "the beginning of the end", seriously that would be so homo-saphienesque

You have a scale problem there (that is always the answer in this forum)
By the way; if we all jump in all the world at the same time the jump forces will oppose the ones on the antipodas... we should meet all at the same place (country?) just before the jump to do it correctly.
