I'm still confused how Italy got all the way to the finals in this World Cup
Now Italy - France!

yup! tonite i've enjoyed an Italy match for the first time since a long long time... let's hope for France now, 'cause Portugal can be so boring sometimes.

great! they played great this is why they are in the final: they scored in all the matches, an average of 2 goals per match, and never got one a part for that autogoal against US... seems fair to me... and they also plyed a good football not fancy as argentina,spain or Ivory Coast but for sure way better than England or brazil (one of the worst team seen in this worldcup in my opinion)...

Well, the Germans took the Italian World Cup back in 1990... It's only fair we win this time
This is going to be big!!! (Our 4th WC throphy

)

LOL, ok then...
APICELLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways, very happy for Del Piero - such a *talented* player whose always suffered with Italy's hyper conservative / bizarre tactical schemes for the world cup. Brilliant goal, glad he's shown the world what he's capable of...
If Italy ever decides to put its *best* players on the field, from the *beginning*, it would be a lovely site, indeed...

glad to see there was finally a ref that didnt feel the need to pull yellow and red cards out of his pocket every 45 seconds and let everyone play an aggressive yet controled game
