this is a cool way of never having to deal with repeating patterns in your tileable textures again!

Its still a wip right now but it will be avaiable as a photoshop plugin.

ya, thisll be a godsend, I always have to layer up my textures all day long to hide the tiling on things like pavement and asphalt

Yep. My point was: in contrast imagesynth solo is quite costly and modo en suite rather a bargain..
However: imagesynth is a good tool. Even I can make nice tiles now..
