Please post here anything else (not relating to Maxwell technical matters)

That image proved your and your fellow Fry friends goal here clearly, no further comments necessary on that.

I was merely responding with an honest opinion to this comment. Don't see how it's any lower than any other post in this thread (just not Maxwell biased)

As far as the siggy image... This has nothing to do with the topic, just update my sig, thats all. But yeah, maybe a little in poor taste, although my honest option of Maxwell and NL's marketing. (Made it back in April for a "realistic" Maxwell software review I as going to write at the time and never to got to use it. Just want to give it a nice home.)

But yes, a little big, I agree (on the image size at least). Although, its not as over-the-top as NL's marketing.

just for the sake of it (in case someone missed the thread over at the fry forum).

this is the first maxwell beta test:

this is the maxwell 1.1 one:

and this is the fry one:

materials look different, sun position look different, so it's very hard to tell. and I understand you rendered both the beta and 1.1 ones with a slower machine than the one used to render the fry one, so that rendertimes don't really count that much either.

anyway, thanks for rendering it again with 1.1

It looks like we have a guy that........

1) Can't render very well in Maxwell.
2) Insists on posting images to prove it.
3) Doesn't like well manicured lawns around mansions.

Oh, wait.
That's me!

4) Renders with Fry Baby.

Oh, that's not me. :?

Well for what it's worth, the AA looks better in Maxwell and also the part of the building in shadow :P

Well no. It's not okay. And it's not obvious. I just want to make sure your remarks aren't aimed at me, that's all. Because, if they are, then there has been a big misunderstanding.

Even if Fry baby evolves into a better renderer than Maxwell... it will still be useless to me, because it will only have plug-ins for the usual suspects (Megalodesk mafia etc.).

It was a mistake posting here.
I just wait for the demo-version of Fryrender to come out...

No, but it was a mistake posting here in the way that you did. :)
