Two fresh ones today.

I got all inspired so I ran around the house taking pictures for 20 minutes. I couldn't decide between these two, so here are both.

Uromastyx maliensis in the first and a Chinese medicine cabinet that my wife uses for shell storage in the second (she's an avid amateur malacologist).

Hey guys, these are some friggin awesome shots!!

Umm... small request? Could you guys post your camera setting if you remember them? Yeah these will be useful for maxwell stuff but I'm actually more interested in learning how setup my cam for shots just like this.

I got a sony cybershot cam as a gift about a year ago and I'm still trying to figure the friggin thing out!

Lovely photos everyone! :D

thxraph: Such a pretty sunset you caught there :) or is it a sunrise.. no can't be.

Voidmonster: Nice dof on the first one, is that from a lizard or something.. 2nd shot is great with the chinese medicine cabinet.

Jeff: LOL :D thanks and i love that episode too, it's so hilariously funny hehe i'm glad you liked my new avatar.

lsega: Good suggestion, we need to try if possible to add camera settings when we post photos now so they'll come in handy for reference when using Maxwell's camera. I never thought of that option.

ludenhud: Very nice shot! :)

Espen: Sweet! closeup shots like this of flowers with this type of light makes them more interesting.

Keep on photographing people and remember to if possible add as much info about your camera settings when you snap a photo so we have some reference material.

/ Max

jdp, ........great. .....so what is that little 'patterning' we see in between panels? Reminds me of what folded steel looks like. It seems to be such a fine detail on a large structure. Impressive.

this is the detail at full resolution.
my guess is that the pattern is an actual "bending pattern" which give the aluminium joint the needed flexibility to follow the variable curve of the surface without having to design every single frame. I am trying to learn more about it, but herzog&deMeuron website hasn't such detailed informations...
