Thanks, I'm glad there are some people who don't hate my "over" processing. I increased the exposure of the highlights, I increased the darkness of my shadows and darks, I added a little contrast on top of that, I increased the blue and green tones in white balancing, I added a split-tone effect where the highlights are redish/yellow to make the hands look more warm than they were before, I added a blue/green hue to the shadows, I added vignetting, I changed the hue of the red again to make the hand seem warm and not so pale, and then I added a little vibrance to bring out all those greens.
I use Lightroom for all of this by the way, it's a complete lifesaver, even if you don't need to alter the photo so much, it can still be used to make a photo look "original" but not so dull... I tend to go another route as you can see
