Thanks guys! Maybe next time I'll post a photo of something else, or at least from a different view :)

Thanks Jeff, I now realize how long it takes to photograph lightning, I can't count how many times I would miss a strike while I was changing settings or messing with different views. It is very gratifying when you finally catch one.

Thanks Herve, it was my first time seeing a volcano in person, so I took about 70 photos of it :)

Adrian, you are being modest :)
Is your avatar a photo you took? It looks great.

I'm finally taking a break from all the volcano photos, but there will be more to come later on.

One of very few HDRi images I really do like!
You really nailed this one, usually I hate HDR by its obvious look, but this result even got me interested into elaborate.

I too hate the people that do HDR and it comes out with that nuked look....I personally never do that, I use it purely as a tool to bring out the subtle details in scenes

New to the forum as I just picked up Maxwell last week, and that none of my renders are worth posting, I thought I would post this. Hope this is the first of many.

Yes welcome to the Maxwell Render forum Teccboxx :) it's good to see you wanna contribute with photos to this thread.

Keep them coming! :)

[Edit] : Thank you Kurt :) but the thread would have been nothing if no one contributed with photos and comments in it. That's why everyone deserves thanks for helping keeping this thread alive and kicking for such a long time.

/ Max
