But i saw it on another forum and I really dig the idea. .the editor.. and the potential that it could work via plugin application/maxwell read the ibl setups as well.. my fav part is that you can also define a key light(drawing a circle).. or sun light in the sIBL editor and in your 3d app.. maya/max/lw you can click create key light based ontheposition of were u defined it on the HDRI in sIBL editor...

and very nice gallery pics and usefull apps on this guys site as well.. worth chekcing out for HDRI use
