The idea with this plug-in you work on the model in sketchup, take care of all the things... then export to render in Maxwell - with no more work needed. well... thats the idea, the plug-in is still alpha, but it works well so far.

At the moment only texture maps are supported by Maxwell exporter for SketchUp - more will be added later on. However all special Maxwell parameters (surface finishes, emitters, camera parameters,...) can be set using MaxwellExport Ruby plugin which is part of the exporter package.
