Errors producing mxs file

Who else is using or has used 3ds2mxs? Have you come accross any export problems? Such as a 'failure to write to mxs'. I would really like to get this thing working.
One more thing -- if Victor is reading this - have you any timetable which includes a start on the 'official' plugin for sketchup?
