Hi Pavol,

Did some tests on this issue, and the camera parameters do get saved for each SU page.

But,

When you have pages in SU then the area showed is not according to the camera parameters but keeps being set to 640X480 regardless.

in the render all seems to work ok - but we never get to see the actual rendered area in SU hence making this option useless with pages.

if one dos not use pages then this thing works ok - but this is no solution.

hope this get fixed as soon as possible.

cheers

There is a fixed version of Ruby script available here:
http://www.dunako.com/Maxwell/MaxwellExport_win.rb - Windows version
http://www.dunako.com/Maxwell/MaxwellExport_osx.rb - OSX version

You can download the file, rename it to MaxwellExport.rb and place it to c:/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 6/Plugins on Windows or /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 6/SketchUp/Plugins on OSX

The fix solves the problem of show render area not working properly on SU pages. The fix is not perfect yet, show render area turns always off when you switch between pages but you can easily enable it again by opening camera panel.

Obviously the fix will be included in the next plugin update.

thanks pelias!

Perhaps, adding a "show render area" button to the toolbar can be a good thing, or add it to the plugin menu so that we can map a shortcut key for it - that would be the best, no?
