Please have a look at this thread; maybe one of you has an idea how to workaround?

I am not 100% sure it is related but keep in mind that texture coordinates are exported from SketchUp only if the SketchUp material of the entity uses texture - thus is a limitation of SketchUp export SDK so I cannot do anything about that. Thus you should to assign any texture (e.g. completely white) to the object before exporting it to Maxwell.
Please let me know if that helps.

I always attach textures in SU before exporting the model, but the exported mesh is not always sufficient. Moreover, SU itself seems to have problems with placing textures (I did my best to wrap this one right):

The SU geometry does not seem to be sufficient for certain Maxwell necessities. Even if a surface is not textured at all there may occur deficiencies like in this picture. Will the plugin ever be able to fix this? Or should I better change to another modeler?

Can you send me the geometry (skp file) for the problem you've mentioned?
There are limitations in SU when it comes to texturing but I am not aware of any such problems when it comes to 3D geometry.

I just came across the fact that the shadows Sketchup produces itself conform to the appearance Maxwell makes of Sketchup geometry:

Tok I think you would need to up the number of segments in your curve to get better smoothing!!!! Remember most SU models and components available are very low poly and relatively useless for rendering!
