Are instances included in the new plug-in release?
I couldn't find a list of changes for this.

Not yet.
The code for instances (as well as support for groups) is written and it is being tested at the moment.

This feature will make a huge difference with the challenges I have been giving the exporter in my landscape renderings. Right now I have to export elements separately to avoid BugSplat.

I've mentioned it in other thread but I will repeat it here - instances are coming in few days, the code is ready but as it required a very significant changes to the handling of geometry it is being tested in detail.

The code for the new version of SketchUp plugin (with instances) was finalized - I just wait for the final comments from testers. If you want to help me out with testing just let me know via PM - I will make the plugin available for anyone interested even before the release.
