1.6 - Render in Maxwell after Export not working

The 'Render in Maxwell after Export' option is not working. Maxwell Render does not launch after export. Using Windows XP 32 bit.

No problems here - everything seems to be working ok, just very slow with displacements.

I have the same problem, Maxwell doesn´t start automaticly, even if "Render in Maxwell after Export" is checked.
Also the "Create MXM" button in the Sketchup Maxwell Material Window doesn´t work,
nothing happens if I klick on it. Using WinXPx64.

I uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted - still not working.

Same here. Mine quit working after installing 1.6.

Could be an environment paths issue, please try installing this patch:

Ok, after some more tinkering, I got it to work. Here's what I did:
1. Uninstall 1.6 and the new plugin (v1.10).
2. Reinstall 1.5-1.5.1 and the prior plugin (v1.8a)
3. Checked to make sure everything was working again, it was.
4. Uninstalled plugin v1.8a, and installed plugin v1.10.
5. Checked to see what would happen using v1.10 plugin with 1.5.1 - v1.10 launched Maxwell Render, but I got an error - invalid MXS. But at least the plugin was launching mxcl.
6. Uninstalled 1.5.1 & installed 1.6.
7. It works!
Also, the material editor will launch from the plugin now.
Hope this helps others that are experiencing problems.

Thank you Mihai. The patched worked for me. I did not have to remove or reinstall anything.
