Hi everybody!

I just downloaded v.1.1, the plug-in for su plus the textures from arroway.
first I installed 1.1 and the plug-in, and tested it.
Somehow it appears to me, that su has a problem to open the material browser and locating the textures it needs.... SU does not respond, then...

is there any tutorial with a step-by-step instruction for the installation?Does one have to copy the textures into the library? I tried that, but it didn´t help.
Also could anybody explain the difference between mxm materials and textures?

Any help would be great!

but i kinda figured it (or something) out by myself....
i had to reapply all diffuse, bump and spec maps.

shitload of work :x

You just use the arroway texture files in two ways.

First use them in SketchUp as place holders for you UV coordinates. Place scale etc so you have them the way you need them.

Second, open the Maxwell texure editor and use the same texture and it's associated bump maps to create a mxm. Save this in a folder that you can find later and remember the name of the .mxm.

Make sure the texture you placed in sketchup is named the same as the .mxm file you just made (minus of course the .mxm extension)

Export and use the .mxm texture replacement option and navigate to the folder. Export and everywhere you used that texture in Sketchup should be replaced by the .mxm you made with the material editor.

Does this make any sense or help in any way?
