looking for grass mxm

Hi

I'm pretty new to Maxwell so please forgive blunders.

I want to use Grass and have been looking at Jason Maranto's tutorial https://vimeo.com/169862831 . I haven't got and can't find a grass mxm material. The online materials gallery is never available https://maxwellrender.com/materials/ , the internal web browser does not have any grass, I have tried searching for Jason's file as per his tutorial but that is no longer available j_greengrass_base.mxm - which you can see was once there https://sketchucation.com/forums/viewto ... 80&t=46053 but link is no longer live.

Please help! I'm so frustrated... I can't understand why the file - and others perhaps - wouldn't be in the gallery.

thanks

Based on the video, I think you are looking for the Extension and NOT the material

No, you DO Need the grass materials!

They can be downloaded from this page - https://nextlimitsupport.atlassian.net/ ... s+Examples

Read just a little bit down this page and you will find the download links for the grass materials.

Yes, we all bumped across this rock one time. The location of these special materials is not obvious.

I made a suggestion on the FB page of Maxwell, for the grass extension to simply assign a high quality material to the grass object when it's created. I just can't get it why it's not done like that, as you are creating grass and there's no logic to have to assign a material and then mess with it to get ... grass. it should be automatically made by the software.
