Hi,

Hoping someone knows how to cull back faces in Maxwell Render? I use the Rhino plug-in. I want to look thru the walls of a room but don't want to actually remove the wall surfaces for the rendering because they are needed for reflected light in the room. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Two other options would be using the Z-clip feature of the camera (maybe this is harder to manage) or the boolean objects. For example, create a box and select it; then go to the Object Properties panel > Maxwell section and locate the Boolean Type attribute. From the dropdown choose Box. Then the box will make invisible to the camera everything inside its bounding box. You can use several of those in the scene to make some interesting cuts to the scene without altering the illumination.

Cheers!
