Exporting Material from Rhino to Material Editor

Hi,

Is there a way of exporting a material you have made in Rhino (Mac) to the Material Editor? I can't see any way of doing it.

I am loving the latest plugin update - really great to have instances of MXS files within Rhino.

Thanks.

Hi glassbathroom,

I have only found one way to save an mxm material in Rhino.
1- click on "Create a Maxwell Material"
2- In "Global properties", in front of "type", choose "referenced"
3-click on new; save the mxm file somewhere, then a maxwell editor window will open in Rhino
4- make the settings for what you want here and save.

After we can edit the material in or outside rhino

Hi Thierry,

Very late response on this. Sorry. I only just spotted the reply today.

This works well. Many thanks.

Not the most obvious solution, but better than no solution at all.

Thank you!
