Inside maya set render priority to Normal launch Render and is always set to Below Normal

Think this bug has been around for a while. I always need to stop render and change that setting.

Hello,

In Maya there's no explicit option to set it to Normal priority; if you uncheck the Low Priority Render option, it sets the render to Below Normal by default. If you want to set it to Normal you only have to type -p:normal in the Additional flags box (and uncheck Low Priority Render):

Any chance we can get a checkbox that does this by default? Or just make it the default? It's really cumbersome to have to remember and paste in "-p:normal" every time I launch Maya.
