Very Nice, Andreas! I like this quite a bit.

Glass is always hard to render well, but you make it seem easy and straightforward in this tutorial. It is good that the tutorial shows all the ways this can be done. Like Nasok, I like the attention you give to the camera.

Well Done! and a good resource for all of us.

......... and your voice is very soothing..... :)

Hi Andreas,

I've managed to watch the tutorial and agree with the other comments - it's well done and easy to understand. I learnt something new (again) and enjoyed the lighting effects you achieved and the clarity of the renders. Good work! ....now, have you considered a shift from tutorials on industrial design towards buildings :-)

Yeah, well, the means of lighting are not invented by me. They are good old photo studio techniques as we learnt them decades ago.

For anything, I found that if one knows how real life photography works, even if only with a higher end smartphone, setting up a render becomes very straightforward. I think too many beginners are looking at other renderings, not at the real world, and then struggle, not really knowing what factor influences what.

Good observation...we need to get back to basics and understand the core principles .
