Maxwell Render | Official public forum

Wow, in just a few days it will be 20 years since I joined the Maxwell forum! Although I haven't been very active on the forum in the past few years, I still feel very connected to Next Limit and Maxwell.

That is insane ! I'm like you I am very connected and love maxwell render even that i hardly ever use it. I wish for it to rise up again Maybe in another 20 years our renders will reach service level 18

Would have been 20 years. It's dead since long....I frankly I don't understand how NL has managed to not give a single bit of info about further development or not. Even saying they need 5 or 10 years to come up with the next version would habe been better than nothing and stretching uncertainty..such an inspiring piece of software and such a .... strange... end. Remember seeing a render with incredible flashlight optic back in alpha stage..had bever seen that before....maybe some AI can make a "maxwell render-like-look" ... sad...

NL should look for an investor. Industrial designers dearly need a better and easy to use alternative to cumbersome Keyshot.
