Why is a regular LED emitter with the same lumen output rendering brighter, even though the camera settings and all else are identical? The emitter material is assigned to a 10 mm2 plane, the same output area of the real LED.

I have the real LED here and the IES emitter's light distribution (74% of the light output is forward, max. output angle 120°) matches that of the real product, whereas the regular emitter's light distribution from the plane does (expectedly) not.
