Some adware named Beerockstars pops up when I visit NextLimit's websites. I quickly close the tab when I can but is anything being done about this? I'm sure Beerockstars is some malicious adware.

it's almost all related. We suffered some attacks on our website, and because of that we got blacklisted on some security systems. That's why it's giving you an alert when maxwell.exe is connecting to check updates.

We cleaned any attack within hours, but it's annoying. We were working on a new website that would help improve security. And it's release it's near. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Keep in mind that AVAST actually block anything related to Maxwell Render too.

Even last update for Maxwell Render / Studio is flagged as malware.

Better you Keep in touch with AVAST to solve this annoying problem.
