For those of you using Substance Painter, be sure to download the latest update - it contains two custom exports for Maxwell Render!

Our assitant relies on that. In the sense that if you use those exporters, then in the assistant you only have to select 1 texture and the assistant will find out all other textures and give a material ready to render.

Substance assistant is on final stage of testing, with good results. So we hope you can have it soon.

It's amazing. Obviously it still leaves us to deal with the roughness issue on our own, but still, it's a MAJOR improvement already!

Well .. not anymore

Substance Assistant in new Maxwell Studio works flawlessly with textures from Substance Painter. Including roughness
It's not just saves time (as material creation now literally takes a few clicks) but guys at Maxwell's team did an amazing job to identify what adjustments have to be applied to textures in order to bring results up to Maxwell standards.

It is exciting!!
