Is there a time or if there is a vision on having the rhino maxwell render plugin for mac be more seamless, sort of like the windows version?

There is indeed a vision (and work being done), but not a definite timeline, as this depends on the further development of Rhino for Mac, along with internal developments here; also, the current plugin on Windows will not run on Rhino 6, so a new plugin, for both Windows & Mac (and hopefully sharing as much code as possible between the two) lies at the intersection of these three things.
