Maxwell toolbar vanished after restart

Anyone experienced this behaviour? After installing maxwell for maya and opening maya everything is fine, the toolbar is there and all the icons/buttons.

Next time you reopen maya the toolbar shelf is completely empty.

I've noticed Maya tends to "forget" what plugins are "always load" in the plugin manager. check there to see if maxwell is "always load".
