Hi,
I'm not sure if you refer to the Subdivision modifier or the smoothing of the surface (the one that depends on the angles of the faces' normals). In both cases, there's no command currently for that, but you can disable the extensions globally using -disableextensions , but that will disable all of them, grass, scatter, subdivision, sea,...

You can also remove or rename that particular extension from the extensions folder in Maxwell. It's not very elegant, but it works.

If you open a command line window, go to Maxwell folder and type maxwell -h you get a full list of all the commands available, in case you need them.
