I am looking for input on how to accurately locate an emitter. I am utilizing a small sphere as recommended for the application of an IES emitter. Unfortunately, using the mouse to rotate the emitter does not provide enough accuracy.

I have tried using Rhino to orient the sphere using the proper axis systems following the application the emitter. Unfortunately, once exported to Studio the emitter is not aligned properly.

Are there alternatives, or, do I need to calculate the compound rotations and apply them in the object co-ordinates window?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You have more precision if you use the middle mouse button and click drag in the up/down arrow area of the numerics. If you don't have enough decimals in the numeric, you can also rightclick it and choose decimal precision.
