How to create hair with DAZ Studio / ZBrush?

Hello,

i would like to create hair. I'm stick with DAZ studio/ZBrush. The existing DAZ plugins can export curves as obj-file. ZBrush can export Modo, Lightwave and Maya-files (says the documentation. I don't know what this means for fibers).

What would be the best way to create hair/flur/hairstyles to be rendered in Maxwell?

For now I even don't know the right keywords for google? :-)

Kind Regards

I had good results by simple exporting the subtool containing the Fibermesh and importing it into Maxwell Studio. Should work in Daz Studio, too. Only negative thing is that this only works for stills.

How did you export the subtools. As obj-File?

Yes I exported it as a obj-file. I still fight with some artefacts in the render 8(
