Are you sure it doesn't come up? Isn't it just behind the C4D window?
So it doesn't com to the top, but it is there maybe?

(Do you use Windows or OSX version?)

No no, the MXED window comes up. But with an empty new material.



Same problem in the native material editor > MXM Options > Edit with MXED

When I add the rendering region tag to a camera and make sure the clip planes are turned off in the camera (which usually makes it invisible), all the controls in the rendering region toolbox are greyed out, except the "enabled" tickbox. always worked before. C4D 20 OSX

I can see this camera region bug too.

It is actually a bug under the R19 version too but somehow it hasn't caused problem there.

Can you add the same functionality in the plugin material manager as with MXED ? for example, I only use mxed to make new mxm materials for models I download because it asks if it should copy the relevant textures to the texture folder all is organised and like this, I can see the material in the C4D model window. If I make a new material in the maxwell plugin, it doesnt do this and as a result you can have orphan textures left out.

With the version 4.2.3 it works. I was still on version 4.2.2.

In the C4D scene : engine : tone mapping menu, there is no ACES colour space.
When I start rendering, there is the option to select ACES in the Maxwell render window

can you add it to the plugin so I can set it already before rendering ?
