When I save .png files my channels gets all mirrored and zoomed in.
Worked in the 3.0.0 version but not anymore...

To clarify:
When we save png's and click yes to the question "Embed channels?" the chanel-picture is corrupt. But if we save the channel separately it looks ok.
here is an example:
This is the render:
This is the object channel when they are embedded:
And finaly the object channel as it should look.

Hello Marlamuth,
In general terms, as PNG doesn't allow embedding channels (but the alpha), any extra channel ordered to be embedded on a PNG render file will be stored separated instead.
We are testing it here and we get identically right results both setting the ObjectID channel to be Separated and Embedded. In both cases the channel is exported separated as expected (as mentioned above).
Could you post one simple MXS scene that we can simply hit render and trigger this result?
We'll take a look at it. Keep me informed.
Greetings

Ok.
I see where I was wrong. I had my obj channel in the default setting (exr 32) and then maxwell couldn't save it correctly as a 8 bit png.
Woludn't it be good to have the default as "same as render" instead?
