Hi there,

Thinking of buying Maxwell, and was wondering if anybody out there has got it to work on a G4 Powerbook with 512Mb RAM?

If not how much RAM do I need to get it to work? (I know the answer is 'as much as you can fit in the machine' but I am looking for a minimum that Maxwell will run in.)

Cheers.

I think the most important like adehus said is the processor not the memory....

i have one G5 dual 2.0 GHz with 1.5GB of memory and one G5 imac 1.8 GHz with 2GB of memory and the difference is amazing G5 dual is much more speed (of course it has 2 cpus) and we try also here in a powerbook with 512 GB of memory and it renders ok ... more slow but it works fine... you can work
