Moving license to a new computer?

(I have written support about this, but I am trying here too, since I need to get up and running - and I don't have premium support whatever that really means)

I have tried to Activate the license (V4) on the new machine, but can't. A dialog says to contact support. I suppose that's because tech has to release the license from the old host ID it's connected to. Is this correct? ...or is this something I can do on my own somehow?

I have the same problem. I've never had trouble activating a license to a new machine until now. I put in a request for help about 4 days ago and have had no response.
Any ideas from anyone? I'm getting the connection error but I've turned off the firewalls in Win10 and shutdown malwarebytes. I'm on a new AMD system.
