I encounter problems with Maxwell materials based on .tif images, which have previously been rendered without problems by Maxwell. I have to save the images in an alternative format, for example in .png to get a render. Curious, since this previously functioned without fault.

Does it happen with all the .tif textures you use or only with some particular ones?
I cannot trigger any problem with .tif files in my computer.

Where are those .tif files coming from? Could you share some of the problematic files?
