Oculus Go anyone?

Hi All!

I've just received an Oculus Go for testing, and am wondering what Maxwell could do for me here... I'd like to produce some 3D renders, and publish them online for our clients. I don't need to move around, just a proper 360 panorama/VR.

I see that it looks like I can produce a left eye and a right eye image if I change the lens type, but then what? Do I need to use Photoshop to create the VR file?

Is anyone doing this kind of thing? Many companies have appeared, with Rhino plugins, but none have the render quality of Maxwell. Would be lovely if you could just hit "render" and you get a VR image directly, no?

Cheers,

Tom

You can render using "Spherical lense" and than rename the render by add the word PANO.
for example : render.png >>> PANO_render.png
i never used oculus but it work fine with other vr glasses

Thanks for the tip. It turns out that within the Oculus Go you don't need to rename the file. You just have to tell it that this is a 360 degree image, and the headset does the rest.
