Hi guys,

is there any way to view the materials in the material gallery by the date they were added? Currently I think they are sorted in alphabetical order. I know recently there were a lot of new materials added, but it is hard to find the new ones, since I have no idea how they are called:)

I know this used to be the default way they were sorted, and I did check that site more often just to see what is new.

to be honest I just don't get the whole structure of the material libraries. I think that maxwell should have it's complete database -including all those brdf and axf and also if possible stuff like vrscans... - integrated seamlessly inside the material browser with options to search via tags, categories and material name. all in a single dialog. with options for favorite materials and folders etc.

Well .. it has tags in fact
I would prefer to have a separation from procedural materials and image based. and of course tags for 1k , 2k, 3k etc sizes.
