denoiser issue with hdr?

cannot save a denoised image as 32 bit hdr. just gives black and white dots. bug? or the limit of the denoiser?

Hi,
Just a hunch; could you try to save it without embedding the channels?
Currently, there's a bug when saving a denoised image in a format that stores layers, like exr, psd or tiff. Maybe this is related too.

hope for a fix soon....32 bit is what makes maxwell best.

You only need 32bit if you're going to make some very big changes in exposure in post. Otherwise 16bit or 16bit exr half float is plenty enough. If it's color accuracy you're after, a 16bit integer format (like tif or png) is better than 16bit exr which contains more stops but slightly less accurate color values compared to 16bit integer format. Make sure to set color gamut to adobeRGB or even prophotoRGB for widest gamut before saving.

i do lighting adjusments in PS and in 32 bit it works best. 16 bit is considered LDR for those...

*bump* any news about fixing the " save as 32bit.hdr" denoised image issue?
