Hey there!

Interesting there is a difference with the AMD chipsets... Still, good to know that Windows 10 isn't affecting performance much with what I have.

I am actually still looking to upgrade... Whilst my system is no longer liking to be overclocked it is running OK. Slowly however starting to show signs of it age with bits of the EVGA SR2 motherboard giving up the ghost!

I think I would be more in the market for one of these new Threadrippers now rather than the Xeons. It will be interesting to see the results they post compared to a dual Xeon setup. My guess is more than favourable.

To clarify, there isn't a difference with "AMD Chipsets" broadly speaking. It was specifically with the 2990wx chip and the Naples generation EPYC chips that have the unusual NUMA layout. All of the Zen2/Rome stuff, there won't be much difference.

Nice, looking at result of 3970X my guess is 100-110 seconds for 3990X (default clocks, no PBO).

Btw can you share details about which motherboard and RAM models you are using for 3990X ? Thanks.

The 3970x above is on the Gigabyte TRX40 AORUS XTREME and Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3.

The 3990x will be on an ASUS Rog Zenith II Extreme, Thermaltake Floe Riing RGB 360 TR4 AIO, and G.Skill Ram kit F4-3200C16Q2-256GVK

Very nice scene.

(I'm curious how it would look if that small statue would be made of glass|

Looks good but pleeeease make it a time-duration test and not a scene completion test. Otherwise it will be obsolete quickly, as Cinebench r20 is.
