Hello
There are two Maxwell|Blender plugins (Bmaxwell , Blendemaxwell)but the development of both of them stopped .
This method allow blender users to use these plugins with maxwell v4.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1- Blendmaxwell | Developer : Carbon: https://github.com/uhlik/blendmaxwell
Tested and work : windows 10 64bits / maxwell 4.1 / blender 2.79
- install the script in Blender 2.79.
- replace MAXWELL3 by MAXWELL4 in all scripts.
- copy pymaxwell path from '.../Maxwell 3/python' to '.../Maxwell Render 4/python'.
- copy ' mxcommon_64.dll ' from '.../Maxwell 3' to '.../Maxwell Render 4'.
- create folder "../Next Limit/Maxwell 3" ; and inside it add the folder "extensions" from original "Maxwell 3 folder".
- add this new folder ' Maxwell 3' to environment variables
if you have maxwell 3 installed you don't need this last two steps.
** this plugin don't export vdb files.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2- Bmaxwell | Developer : Nildar: https://sourceforge.net/projects/bmaxwell
Tested and work : windows 10 64bits / maxwell 4.1 / blender 2.78
- install the script in Blender 2.78.
- copy ' mxcommon_64.dll ' from '.../Maxwell 3' to '.../Maxwell Render 4'.
- copy "extensions" folder from '.../Maxwell 3' to '.../Maxwell Render 4'.
- this step is important : get a demo license of maxwell V3 and copy it to '.../Maxwell Render 4' ; this license must named : 'maxwell_license.lic'.
first render inside blender with watermark ; than it will use V4 license
** this plugin export vdb files but the location change.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i tried to post this thread in blender forum but it is now in legacy section and posting there is not allowed.
