Licensing issue

Hi purchased a licence today for
Studio (floating Licence)
SolidWorks (floating Licence)
10 nodes

Having trouble with the licence getting an error 302

I've tried to manually add the Host id online, website accepted the MAC address ok but still showing locally as no licence. It created a lic file but placing that in the folder didn't work, but guessing that is the wrong thing to do anyway we have bought and paid for a floating licence.

I've tried on two separate PC's to install the RLM server and activate the licenses to no avail. Looked through all the online help regarding licencing, again with no success.

A support request has been logged but, no response as yet.

The time difference between Perth Australia and Madrid will be an issue regarding getting help.

Hoping someone here can help, I've done a quick search of the forum for error 302 again to no avail.

Regards

John Layne

Hi John,

Probably you are going to get a message from Tech Support today, nevertheless, I can try to help you from here.

First of all, it would be interesting to know where are you getting that error 302. If you could show us a screenshot, it would be of great help.

Probably, if you have tried to install the license manually you have this file missing: http://support.nextlimit.com/download/a ... 000&api=v2
This file tells the computer where it should look for the RLM server (in local computer).

It should be placed in the same folder as normal license file: C:\ProgramData\Next Limit\Maxwell\licenses (please, notice it's ProgramData, which could be hidden, and not Program Files).
You will find more information here: http://support.nextlimit.com/display/ma ... activation

I hope it helps.

Best wishes,
Fernando
