I wrote a new tutorial for Maxwellzone which was intended to show how to "fix" the DesignConnected Maxwell cloth materials because their auto conversion seems to need some heavy tweaking. But then I thought it makes sense to also explain in more detail what I've understood about the r2 parameters and get exactly the look you're after:
