[SOLVED] [Beta 3.0.99.3] Rendering OpenVDB = CRASH

First of all, thank you for beta of upcoming Maxwell 3.1, Render Zones is amazing new feature :)

Ok, I tried to render few examples that you can find at official OpenVDB website, but with no success.

I started with dragon.vdb, setup the scene, click on FIRE button in Studio and immediately received app-crash error.

I don't have experience with VDB so I thought it could be "not-compatible" file, so I used same smoke2.vdb file as Mihai

and did everything like he step-by-step. Still no success, FIRE or render = Maxwell Crash.

I know it is just beta, but would be really nice to try VDB stuff.

Could someone confirm that ? Thanks.

I noticed that Mihai used 3.0.9.12 version for testing.

it work for me today !
i first created volumetric ; than i choose smoke.vdb from file name ( field type : constant )
than i changed field type to volume file based
after that i loaded vdb file without problem : fire and render viewport but render crashed
