Global bump map broken

I dont know if this has been posted before, I searched but found nothing..

The bug is very simple, If you open an mxm in mxed that has a global bump, the global bump is missing (I am opening mw2 files) now if you edit and save that file the global bump has been removed < WARNING you can easily corrupt your material library this way.

I noticed this problem immediately when I tried MW3, but I thought it was such an obvious bug that it would be fixed instantly, so I didnt mention it until now, sry about that.

Is this still happening with 3.0.1.1?

Honestly, it doesn't matter if I open v2 or v3 mxm with a missing global map. It asks for the missing map for 2 times (not sure why) and then greys out the checkbox of the global bump with the missing texture. Now if I save it, the map will be gone. Why is this reported as a V3-specific issue and what would you expect it to do?
