V3 Resources Browser Problems

I guess it is a bug...
I can not get the resources browser to display a new or different path to my materials library located on a hard drive on my mac mini server. Actually it doesn't change and display any other path than the default path linked to the installation folder on my hard drive.
Any ideas why that is happening?

Hi Q2,
Which application and wich version is giving you problems, does it also happen with the newest versions/betas?. what OS version are you using?.

Latest beta version 3.0.99.6
But also happens with normal official version 3.0
in Maxwell Studio running
OS X 10.10.1
All materials and textures are on my drobo 5n connected via 1000mbit network switch.
Used to work fine until version 3.0 came out. Since then ...HAVOCK
Ideas?

Ok, so the problem is that it doesn't work when you select a remote folder/disk?

yepp! But it used to... and I was able to connect from all three Macs.
Once place to hold them, one place to store them, one place to link studio to them.... ( you get the point!)
THAT does not work anymore.
I can only access the local hard dive but no network drives anymore.
The weird thing is that it sometimes works.... but I have not found out why and when...
WHAT I CAN DO... is
Open the finder, go to the network drive and select the mxm's there and drag them into the studio window. A popup appears and let's me embed the files ... But it is cumbersome....

OK, I can reproduce it now (I couldn't before because i could not understand the issue so thought was a local issue.
What i see is that after selecting a external volume if you quit studio(or mixed) and reopen it, the external volume appears as expected. Anyway trying to solve it now

AND ONE MORE THING...
When trying to save a project via pack and go, Maxwell Studio crashes...
Maybe has to do with the same network issue?

Both issues were not related but should be solved in the next 3.1 beta.
