Hi,
This is a lid for a glass jar I'm modeling. under the jar there is a yellowish rubber seal.
I just adjusted the curves with photoshop, as with this system you can't change the exposure on the fly.
To avoid the black spots and bad phong: Use the cinemaxwell plugin 0.4.
To avoid the infamous Maxwell beta crashes: Create the whatever.mxs as usual from C4D. Once the Maxwell window open, quit it. Open the terminal and start the render from within, I used the -hd flag and don't use the -d flag. This flag is what opens the visor that makes maxwell crash. Of course now the only way to see your progress is to open the output file once in a while.
Happy renders.

hey lluistar,
how did you make the SSS with plugin 0.4?
cinemaxwell 0.4 doesn't support SSS!!

I know. But you have dielectrics.
Transmittance color: H 53° S 10% V 100%
Absorbance: 0.42
Refraction index: 1.518
Abbe number: 200
U roughness: 0.4
V roughness: 0.4
That's it
