Loaded the beta down on my Dual G5, installed it the way the readme says, started C4D, created a camera and applied a max tag, started the plugin, selected the camera, clicked render - and Excel opened instead of Maxwell. Repeated the procedure several times, each with te same result. Excellent rendering!

Hi
Had the same problem exept the mxs files opened final cut
Fix:
Right click the maxwell app and choose "show package contents":
Right click this file:
Contents/MacOS/
rgb.mxs and check what it says
under the "open with" item. If it doesnt say maxwell choose "other" and
locate the maxwell app.

This all would not happen if NL would use a proper Mac creator code to save that file, which they could register here for free:

Yes, they work with OS X, and they solve this problem once and for all.
