Linux render node not seen by Windows Network Monitor

Hi,
I’m trying to set up two render nodes – the 1st machine is a Windows 7 machine and the 2nd machine is a Linux/Ubuntu 12.04 machine. I've had Maxwell installed on the Windows machine for a while now and it’s been running without any problems. Maxwell and the Maxwell network components seem to be installed correctly on the Linux machine and start up without any errors. I’m trying to use the Linux machine as a render node and run the Network Manager and Monitor on the Windows machine. When I start the Network Monitor, it doesn’t see the render node on the Linux machine. I can ping each machine so there is basic network connectivity.
Not sure what I need to do next to have the Windows based Network Monitor see the Linux render node. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Mike
